Day 1 – Vilshofen, Germany (Embarkation)

Board the ultra-luxurious AmaMagna and settle into your spacious stateroom. Enjoy your first gourmet dinner onboard as your Danube journey begins. (D)

Day 2 – Passau, Germany

Discover Passau’s beautiful Gothic and Italian Baroque architecture on a guided walking tour, including magnificent St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Alternatively, hike to Veste Oberhaus Fortress or enjoy a scenic bike ride along the river. (B,L,D)

Day 3 – Linz, Austria

Choose between a full-day excursion to Salzburg (Mozart’s birthplace) or the fairy-tale town of Český Krumlov in the Czech Republic. Alternatively, explore Linz on foot or by bike, or enjoy a fascinating whiskey distillation tour. (B,L,D)

Day 4 – Dürnstein & Spitz, Austria

Stroll through postcard-perfect Dürnstein, visit the Baroque abbey church, or hike to the historic fortress. In Spitz, enjoy cycling or hiking, followed by an exclusive wine tasting featuring Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. (B,L,D)

Day 5 – Vienna, Austria

Explore imperial Vienna with visits to the Opera House, Hofburg Palace and St. Stephen’s Cathedral, or discover the city by bike. In the afternoon, tour the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace & Gardens. (B,L,D)

Day 6 – Budapest, Hungary

Discover both sides of Budapest:
• Buda – Castle District, Fisherman’s Bastion & Matthias Church
• Pest – Parliament Building, Heroes’ Square & “Shoes on the Danube” memorial

Day 7 – Budapest
